Richard Caturano of Vitale Caturano is Appointed to Board of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
Richard Caturano, president and co-founder of Boston Technology Consulting firm Vitale, Caturano & Company Ltd., has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
The AICPA is a national professional organization for Certified Public Accountants in the United States. Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information and leadership that enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the public, employers and clients. Caturano is one of 23 board members from across the country, 20 of whom are Certified Public Accountants.

It sets ethical standards for the profession and U.S. auditing standards for audits of private companies, non-profit organizations, federal, state and local governments. It develops and grades the Uniform CPA Examination.
